Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting — especially if you’re unsure what to say or whether your struggles are “serious enough.” You don’t need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. Many people come feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or simply tired of carrying things alone. We can take things at your pace, starting with a free 30-minute consultation where there’s no pressure or obligation — just a chance to talk, ask questions, and see if working together feels right for you.
Many clients notice some relief within the first few sessions. We then use this increased steadiness as a foundation to explore deeper patterns, emotional blocks and self-beliefs that often sit underneath anxiety or low mood.
While the pace is always guided by you, clients commonly choose to work with me for 8–16 sessions or longer, allowing time for reflection, integration and meaningful change — not just symptom reduction.

Anxiety is often a sign that something inside you needs attention, safety or understanding. In our work together, we don’t just aim to reduce anxious feelings — we explore what they’re protecting, what they’re responding to, and how you can build a more trusting relationship with yourself over time.
I recommend beginning with a commitment of at least 6 sessions, as this allows time to build trust and notice meaningful shifts. Many clients then choose to continue for further sessions to consolidate changes and deepen the work.
