Janes qualifications and experience ...
Jane qualified as a person-centred counsellor in 2023 with a Level 4 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Macclesfield College. During her training, Jane supported NHS clients, gaining extensive experience in a wide range of issues and short-term therapy.
After completing her training, Jane supported many people online while building her private practice in her hometown of Leek, Staffordshire, where she welcomes clients both online and in person.
Jane continued with her training, gaining certificates in self-harm and suicide awareness, counselling ADHD, working with bereavement, working with the inner child, working with shame, autism masking and adverse childhood experiences. Jane has also completed CPD training on attachment theory and transactional analysis, integrating these into her approach.
Jane then went on to complete a BSc in Counselling at the University of Staffordshire, which included training in relationship counselling and working with children and young people, earning First Class Honours.
Jane is continuing her training and is currently enrolled in a Level 5 & 6 Trauma Course, as well as a Level 3 Autism Awareness course.

Jane is an experienced counsellor and integrates different therapeutic approaches and tailors sessions to meet your individual needs.

Jane has a gentle yet strong nature, enabling her to walk softly by your side but also be able to challenge your beliefs and assumptions that don't serve you anymore.
